wood

working with wood is really cool. not only do i feel super handy when ever i do something, but the wood just feels good. and its so beautiful too. its soft in some places, rough in others and when you put some lacker on it, it gives it the most beautiful finish. it really makes me excited to go to class everyday. though the thing that kicks my butt every time is figuring out the math that go along with writing up the plans. i am very greatfull for patiant teachers that take the time to sit down and help me figure all of it out. wood workers are less intimidating than other shop teachers as well.
